Bruce
June 16, 2005 – January 16, 2020
Bruce was a very adorable dog. Very smart and sweet, and with very sharp hearing.
He saved me once from a burglar when he was less than 1 year old, I could have been hurt if he did not alert me sooner. I owe him my life. He was very intelligent, he learned commands and tricks very fast, and comes up with his own tricks. He got his diploma from puppy school and was very proud of him.
He was very playful but never started a fight with other dogs, he was a calm spirit. He got along well with little kids. Destroyed every toy I bought for him but never chewed any of my shoes ever. He looked good in any outfit I put him in. He loved chicken and rice and watermelon.
He was a very sensitive dog. He knew when I’m very tired from work or sad, he would sit quietly next to me and be there without a sound. Like saying, I’m just here mommy.
He greeted me every day with excitement when I get home. He would stand on his hind legs and gave me hugs like a little child. He was a good big brother to his younger dog brother.
I miss his presence, his gait, his bark, his wagging tail, his playfulness, his kindness, his look when he gave me puppy-eyes when he knew he was in trouble, his hugs and left-handed handshakes. He was a lefty. I miss everything about Bruce. He gave me joy for the past fourteen and a half years. Today is his birthday. He would have been 15 years old.
Happy birthday Bruce! I miss you so much. You will always be in my heart my little boy.
Mommy will see you someday and we will be together again. I love you Bruce. I always will.
Love always,
-Mommy
